Sales Manager

Your tasks The North American Sales Manager will manage a portfolio of glass products and coated glass for architectural applications as well as for technical glazing and radiation shielding applications.Looking for a highly motivated sales professional to service and grow its North American market. International travel to Germany, Canada and Mexico. Domestic travel within the continental US. The chosen candidate will:   Manage a sales territory within the US, Canada and Mexico. Partner with European (Germany) manufacturing sites to deliver products to customers in a timely manner. Domestic and international travel including travel to German manufacturing sites. Advises customers concerning product applications.  Proposes new products to customers.  Supports customers in the development and introduction of new products as well as concerning sales of new products by providing adequate training.  Prepare yearly sales figures and quantities to be sold as well as the corresponding forecast for the customers and countries assigned.  Analyze cross comparison between planned and reached figures on the basis of monthly control reports (sales and incoming orders) and takes corrective actions in case of deviations.  Collects market specific data for the markets of his/her area of responsibility (customer information and data of other market participants).  Analyzes market chances to sell the products and develops goals and actions to be taken  (customer and country/regional concepts) in order to reach sales goals. Prepares suggestions concerning price and product range policy. Serves as primary point of contact for customer requests and evaluates realization possibilities.  Prepares offers and suggestions for his/her customers and ensures proper and timely execution of orders.  Negotiates with customers on quantities and selling conditions.  Advises customers concerning technical questions, in corporation with the respective points of contact in technical departments, as required.  Handles customer requests, prepares offers, and follows up.  Contacts and visits customers on a regular basis in order to discuss and/or agree on customer's requests, questions, contracts, and conditions for all deliveries.  Follow-up on past dues. Ability to travel to customers up to 50% of the time. Performs other duties as assigned. Your profile 5 years experience in Sales and/or Business Development. Experience with B2B Sales highly desired. Effective interpersonal skills in order to establish effective working relationships with internal partners and external customers. Self-motivated and results oriented. Strong business acumen. Ability to think strategically in order to develop new customers and markets. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
